Life at The Home

Our communal rooms are spacious and tastefully designed in keeping with the character of the period building. Residents can enjoy a book, watch television or listen to music or if they so wish join in our organised activities. Often our activities involve contact with members of the village and other people outside the home. This helps residents have a sense of self-esteem and worth by making them feel very much part of the local community.

Albert

We have a permanent resident at Hinstock Manor called Albert who is the home's cat.  He loves nothing more thant wandering round the home having lots of attention and fuss from our residents along the way.

The Staff

Mrs Sian Thea-Griffiths runs Hinstock Manor and lives just a few miles away with her husband and two daughters, and strives to give personal services supported by a dedicated care team. She has worked for 20 years in the care sector and is also a qualified chef.

Our Home's Manager is Sarah Patten, who is happy to discuss any questions you have about Hinstock Manor.

In brief, we endeavour to provide a high class environment in which a resident can be either totally independent or receive any necessary care.
